Take in the breathtaking views of the Hawaiian coastline as you sail towards the sandbar, where you can anchor and enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters, relax on the floating platform, or play a game of sandbar volleyball.

We offer 3-hour private charters to the Kaneohe sandbar twice a day; our morning all-inclusive private charter departs at 9:30 AM and our afternoon private charter departs at 1:00 PM.

TWICE A DAY

Our private charters go out to the Kaneohe sandbar twice daily; the morning charter is from 9:30AM-12:30PM and afternoon from 1:00PM-4:00PM

  • The Hoku Ao can accommodate 35 passengers; the passenger minimum for this boat is 12.
  • The Action Club can accommodate up to 120 passengers; the passenger minimum for this boat is 100.

  • BYOB, snacks, and a cooler is allowed; just no glass bottles at the sandbar.
  • A towel for drying off
  • Sunglasses, hat, and reef safe sunscreen to make sure you protect yourself from the sun. Please make sure you protect our waters and Hawaiian marine life by only using reef safe sunscreen when in Hawaii!
  • Waterproof bag for your personal items.
  • iPhone and/or GoPro to capture your sandbar memories—don’t forget to tag us @kaneohesandbar or use the hashtag #kaneohesandbarprivatecharter
  • Gratuity for the KBOS crew (Venmo accepted)
  • A 15% gratuity charge will be implemented with all private charters
  • A total deposit of 50% of the total for the entire reservation is required to hold/confirm the private charter date. The remaining balance will be due seven (7) days prior to charter date.
  • Cancellations will be fully refunded 30 days prior to the cruise date.
  • No refund of any monies shall be given for groups that cancel less than 30 days in advance.
  • NO SHOWS on the day of the charter will not be refunded.
  • If you require any type of special

    accommodations for any sort of disability, please let us know prior to booking or prior to departing the pier.

  • In the United States, in order to consume alcoholic beverages, the guest must be age 21 and over.
  • Under USCG regulations, after consuming any type of alcoholic beverages, guests will not be able to participate in snorkeling.
  • Guest under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  • People with pre-existing health problems or currently taking medication should notify KBOS Inc. before booking reservations or prior to departing from the He’eia Kea Pier.
